Santa Cruz Sentinel:

On the complete opposite end of the musical spectrum, I had the chance to catch lindsey buckingham at the Palace of Fine Arts Theatre in San Francisco on Monday night. The Fleetwood Mac guitarist released a solo album, "Under the Skin," last month and it's been getting rave reviews for its acoustic-based, stripped-down sound. Buckingham played many songs from the album Monday night, including the title track, "Castaway Dreams," and the opening track, "Not Too Late." Some he played solo acoustic, others he brought out three musicians on guitar, keyboards and percussion.

He didn't shy away from his Fleetwood Mac hits either, which included stunning versions of "Big Love," "Second Hand News," and the highlight of the night "Go Your Own Way," in which Buckingham brought his fingerpick-style to a huge crescendo. Add in "Tusk," and the only thing that could've pleased the sold-out crowd more was if Stevie Nicks appeared on stage. She did not.
